A NEW MODIFIED HOMOTOPY PERTURBATION METHOD FOR SOLVING LINEAR SECOND-ORDER FREDHOLM INTEGRO-DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS
In this paper, we tried to accelerate the rate of convergence in solving second-order Fredholm type Integro-differential equations using a new method which is based on Improved homotopy perturbation method (IHPM) and applying accelerating parameters. This method is very simple and the result is obtained very fast.

متن کاملSecond Order Perturbation Theory for Embedded Eigenvalues
We study second order perturbation theory for embedded eigenvalues of an abstract class of self-adjoint operators. Using an extension of the Mourre theory, under assumptions on the regularity of bound states with respect to a conjugate operator, we prove upper semicontinuity of the point spectrum and establish the Fermi Golden Rule criterion. Our results apply to massless Pauli-Fierz Hamiltonia...
متن کاملBifurcation theory for a class of second order differential equations
We consider the existence of positive solutions of the nonlinear two point boundary value problem u′′ + λf(u) = 0, u(−1) = u(1) = 0, where f(u) = u(u − a)(u− b)(u− c)(1−u), 0 < a < b < c < 1, as the parameter λ varies through positive values. Every solution u(x) is an even function, and when it exists, it is uniquely identified by α = u(0). We study how the number of solutions changes when the ...
متن کاملSecond-order perturbation theory for scattering from heterogeneous rough surfaces.
We propose a model to calculate scattering from inhomogeneous three-dimensional, rough surfaces on top of a stratified medium. The roughness is made up of an ensemble of deposits with various shapes and permittivities whose heights remain small with respect to the wavelength of the incident light. This geometry is encountered in the remote sensing of soil surfaces, or in optics wherever there a...
